I have been involved with Esalen® Massage for over 25 years. During this time, I have integrated various forms of bodywork, somatics, psychology, and healing into Esalen Massage. In 2011, I founded the NPO Touch Care Support Center with the theme "A gentle touch makes a better world." Through this organization, I have incorporated Esalen Touch into nursing, welfare, disaster support, and more, conducting both treatment activities and educational programs. Currently, I am also active in maternity wards, elderly care facilities, and cancer patient support groups. In 2025, I became a certified beginner-level teacher. Previously, I worked as a Japanese history teacher at a prep school, so I am looking forward to sharing the history of Esalen Institute with Japanese society. My publications include "Self-Touching for all " and "Self-care at home for women While my activities are mainly centered in the Kansai region, I frequently visit the Kanto region as well.
