Learning the art of Esalen® Massage is an experience that often changes lives. Having taught certification courses in Bali for a number of years, we notice the lasting power of these memories - for some, as a healing recollection of new friendships made in the extraordinary Balinese landscape; for others, a time of self-exploration and transformation.

I fell in love with touch as a young child...learning from my Dad, to massage his feet and roll his back with a rolling pin. When I arrived at Esalen, and received a session at the baths, I fell in love anew. Thus began my studies, practice & teaching.

Jessica Fagan

Patrick Stockstill

Patrick Stockstill is an Esalen Massage teacher and practitioner living on Orcas Island, Washington. His practice is informed by years of yoga asana practice, mindfulness meditation, Gestalt awareness practice, and a lifelong relationship with the Pacific Ocean. He leads certification and introductory workshops in Washington, Oregon, California, and by invitation.
